I've tried 2 sets of morimoto and just tried DDM tuning. The ballasts keep going bad on the drivers side. Any suggestions?

Running a harness by chance? If so, does it have 1 or 2 relays?

Yes 2 relays
Try switching out the relays. More than likely they’re just cheap Bosch style that you can grab off amazon or your local parts store. My passenger side kept flickering on startup and it was a more sensitive relay than the drivers side (needed a high voltage to stay activated). Besides that, don’t really know what else the problem could be. Bad bulb causing them to over work?

Have someone local with AlfaOBD or buy it yourself and change the headlight to HID and get rid of all the relays and resistors. No more issues.

This! Couldn't be happier with Alfa.

All you need are ballasts, bulbs, and ignitors.

Unless you want/need a 55w system you won't need the extra relays

I'm currently using the relays that came from morimoto.

I don't like stock yellow headlights.

Im thinking about putting LED in my projectors. To hell with other drivers.

I wouldn’t do leds in the projectors. Output will be bad. HIDs will have better output.

Update:

I switched the ballasts left to right, right to left. The lights are working again. I disconnected the resistors on the drivers side without an error message. If I disconnect the passenger side resistors, i get an error message. So we'll see what happens in the next couple days.
