So I have noticed that half way through the past couple of oil changes that the level on the dipstick is in the middle. of the range. I added some oil this time and towed a camper about 150 miles and it was back in the middle. I haven't noticed any burning under the hood or out the exhaust. Haven't searched under the hood yet, but there hasn't been any oil on the ground. Noticed here lately once I crank it up (2016 Ram 1500 5.7) i get what I believe is lifter tick. It does it for about 15 seconds and goes away.
Has anyone had this issue? After checking around the pan and valve cover, will more than likely pull plugs and check them out. Engine has 92,400 on it. Wouldn't think the valve seals would be going already. Hope it's not the rings.
