Sorry for the delay on the video, the iPhone zooms in too much and my gopro stops recording randomly. Video should hopefully be done tomorrow

Never would have even thought of this. Now I have something else to throw on my to-do list.

I just went to home depot and used their little measurement thing for the bolts to see what size it was. Then I grabbed some washers from the drawers and measured them on the ruler they had and 7 of them was about 3/4" so 7x8=56 total washers that I used. Hope that helps, they come in little packs of 5 for just a tad less than a dollar so in total I think I spent like $8 or so

I'm just givin' ya ****, lol. I do like the interior of your truck though.

Haha I know, I've just always hated having to talk in videos or anything like that because I'm always lost for words. Yeah I love the interior on this truck although I did sit in that middle back seat once and it sucks lol

I'm not big on being in front a camera period. Even for still images.

The only thing I think they screwed up on the new truck interior is the headrests. I'm so glad I have the smaller ones. I wouldn't not want to try and look out the back window around those things.

We're are the exact same on that my friend. Yeah I've heard people complain about them, but I've never really had a problem with mine. That reminds me though, the little hooks to put hangers on are in the worst spot because your shirts will completely cover where the headrests are and even start to cover the middle window.

First thing I did was remove mine.

I am unable to watch the video at work... but can you let me know how many bolts hold the seat on, and can you confirm you can use the original bolts or do you need to buy longer ones.

Thank You

I just pulled out 4 of them (one of the 2 seat assemblies, each seat has 4, so 8 total) and the bolts are over 2" long apiece. Even with 3/4 inch worth of washers (or in my case, big hex nuts) that sill leaves over an inch to bolt into the floor. So no, you don't have to buy replacement bolts.

I purchased 8 big-ass (3/4") hex nuts instead of a stack of washers. Each nut cost me 79 cents, x 8 = $6.32 in parts. They just slip over the bolt acting as a spacer, just like washers would have done, but one solid piece instead. Because the nuts are stainless steel, I wanted them to blend in better, so I painted them flat black. Soon as that dries in about 15 minutes, I'll reinstall... and post how well it works.

Update: Just got the 4 painted big-ass nuts (hehehe) in place and bolted seat down. Works perfectly.

Can't believe the amount of wasted storage space that's back there. I could probably stack 4-6 rifles in the space if I wanted or needed to. Now I'm going to go find some kind of bins I can mount on the back cab wall to give me a place to put odds and ends, without tying up my floor and under seat storage.

That's all I needed to hear. Now I'm definitely doing this. As soon as winter goes away.

I will be using the Kicker 10" subwoofer behind the driver's seat in the storage area underneath. How could I make this work with that sub being there?
