Good afternoon. New member here needing some assistance identifying the source of what looks to be coolant splatter in the oil pan of a 2005 5.7 hemi. ~ 59k miles on the engine.
I dropped the pan to replace it after a floor jack mishap, and found what is shown in the attached pics. From my experience it looks like emulsion of coolant, but the vehicle doesnt seem to be loosing any and the oil drained without any milkyness. Has anyone seen something like this before?

TIA

Welcome to the site.
Does the spatter wipe off easily? What the consistency of it? Smooth. chalky, etc?

:waytogo::welcome::pepper: More information needed. Short trips that don't allow the moisture in the engine to be removed will look like this, and like with coolant if excessive, will cause the oil to be milky. This might be an area where the moisture accumulated and didn't mix with the oil. Like was asked more info needed.

It does wipe off easily and doesnt feel "chalky". It does feel less viscous than the oil on the pan, but that you'd be expected with whatever it is.
