I just noticed a puddle under the front of my truck an hour after parking it. It seems to be deisel fuel. It's dripping off the very front edge of the oil pan. Cannot see where is coming from.

Start at your fuel filter and trace forward. Recommend in the dark with a flashlight so you can see the light reflect off the wet.

Have you tried starting it and look for spray?

Looked all along the path from the filter. Nothing right up to the front. Seems to be from somewhere around the idler pulley.

No spray when running, in fact seems to have slowed down.

I had the same leak about a year ago and it was the AC compressor seal. The oil looks and feels like good ol diesel fuel. Never use the air so I ignored it and it eventually stopped. Good luck

First is there any fluid on the floor or driveway ?

Next use a white paper towel & dab at the liquid
what color is it ? what does it smell like ?

Next, use something like Simple Green or even WD-40 & spray the area to clean the surrounding area.
Then check it every so often.

Some things will not show a leak, until the engine is shut off & any pressure will release.
The water pump works like that when it first begins to leak

Good Luck on a simple remedy
