So I am trying to order new ring and pinion sets for my truck. It's a 4x4 so I need to do both front and rear gears. I spoke with the dealer and they said my front diff is 8", and my rear is 9.25". Which I expected. My concern is, I have talked to a couple sellers cause I need these parts by mid next week, and they are trying to sell me 8.25" front gear set. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but that's not the right size?

Motive is what I was looking at, but open to Other brands. OEM is Costly. Was quoted about $1600 for OEM Ring and Pinion alone. So anything cheaper than that would be nice

Is a tech at the dealer. I buy the parts, he will install for $500. Can't beat that deal.

The part number for the rear would be C-925-410 if I remember correctly. I have bearing install kits already sitting in the truck. Looks like I'm

Almost had it.

Yeah, i asked what he wanted to do it and he said $500. I an immediate answer of DEAL. 1100 doesn't seem too bad. I would have paid that.
