All depends on tire choice. I had a set of 305/55-20 duratracs and they were just as heavy as my 35x12.50x20 cooper st maxx. Weight is almost just as important for performance as diameter is. For best performance find a light 33
As in light you say closer to 62lbs or so? Some are weighing around 76lbs like the Duratrac 33. I am making my list with specs and including weight but manufacturers are not listing them. I have one weight out of 5 diff 33's so far. Yes I am paying attention though, also I see many are like 32.6 to 33 while some are actually 33.5 like the BF Goodrich KO2. I will put a good bit of thought into this.
Of course Google and the phone could yield all the weights I'm sure and I will do so. Interested what a light 33 is considered though. Hell Friday I didn't know how to read a tire size or how to read tire specs. I mean very generally yes but I spent a good bit yesterday learning all this on the fly. I didn't realize how fun shopping for tires to match my goals for my truck can be!
Edit: Looks like my rim is 27lbs in 18x9 (V-Tec 395 WIZARD 18X9 black machined face), is that acceptable or should I be looking to sell/buy more than just the rubber?
