Thanks for sharing, am getting ready to put in a new AC system and I know the the evap core is old so got 100% new components because I don't want to do this twice.

That's what I'm talking about. This seems like one heck of a pain staking job. Something that I'm only going to do once.
But I'm going to be replacing the plastic dash core at the same time.

I refilled my A/C for the last time yesterday. Will be glad to get through a summer without refilling it once a month.

Doesn’t show how to squeeze climate controls vacuum line connector through the hole behind it :(.

Forcing it doesn’t feel right. Takes a bit of force. Might be what I have to do.
