Finally got a break from work and had the ATS torque converter, L&M transmission, and the 1 7/8" Stainless Works headers and performance connect exhaust system installed...sounds great! Much better than the JBA catback that I previously had.

Now to just get past the break-in period for the transmission so I can really see what the truck is like now!

USNVet- can you post a larger pic of the headers? I am looking at how the driver's side cat clears the tranny. It looks like it's low- I am sure it's the angle.
thanks

Here are some more pics...it does seem to hang a little low, but probably nothing to really worry about.

thanks.

That poses a potential problem, being that my truck is lowered 2" front and 4" rear.
Andy-
your thoughts on this?

I'm not certain how much play there is in the fitment of the pieces, but you may be able to slide the pipe further into the collector and effectively reduce some of that low hang. I will have to climb under there and see what kind of adjustments can be made.

For the lowered truck, you should be OK in the front with the headers, but you could potentially have a clearance issue in the tailpipes, especially with a 4" drop. This would be the same with any exhaust setup as most are not designed for a lowered suspension, which actually brings the differential closer to the frame.

Concerning the fitment of the crossover pipe near the crossmember, you may be able to adjust it a bit, but you really shouldn't have any issue with ground clearance unless your trying to scale a curb in your lowered truck...haha!

Otherwise great photos of the install, glad you like the setup!

Just Curious??? Will the cross pipe clear a Mag Hytech Deep trans pan?

"Overall Height @ deepest Side 4 5/8"

This Pan will work on #45RFE, 545RFE, and 68RFE Transmissions if there is no cross over exhaust pipe or the cross member interferes.
Also this can be used if exhaust is relocated or changed to dual exhaust.

This pan will hold 3 to 4 Quarts more fluid than the stock pan."

I've got to pull my exhaust (again) to drop my trans so I can replace the OD clutches,
and was thinking of swapping in a larger pan when I do, but my stock cross pipe has to go.

...I'm currently running JBA shorties, stock cats and a Maggy Y pipe into a Magnflow CatBack.

Since I'm crawling under (AGAIN!) and wrenching anyway,
this may be a good time to upgrade to some cat-less LT's right?

We think the bigger pan will cause a fitment issue, the crossover pipe is awfully close to the stock pan and 3-4 extra quarts requires more room. At this point I would prefer the power of the long tube over the shorty header any day!

possible, whats the gb price again?

Depends on which setup you're referring to and how many guys are interested. With a handful of guys we can make some magic happen. I could give you an idea via PM.
