Yea, I couldn't find a hood I liked for the 2500, so I decided to keep the 1500 front end.

Basically all you have to do is cut the old bumper brackets off and weld the new ones on in the correct position

So almost 5 years later... do you know if you cut the flanges / boltholes off the frame and weld the 2500 mounting brackets to it or cut both the 1500 & 2500 mounting brackets and weld them together somehow?

I just bought a 2017 ram 1500 and I'm looking to do this convetsion also. Any luck? thank you in advance for any info.

I guess nobody has ever documented anything to go from 1500 to 2500. Not a single photo even. Strange.
