header down tubes/y pipe

I ordered jba shorties for my 04 3/4. As there are no long tubes available. The headers came with 2.5 inch down tube for the left bank and 2.25 in for the right bank. The y pipe is 2.25 inlets and 3 inch outlet. I called jba a d they said it would be fine. Anybody have experience with 2.25 in pipes on 5.7 hemi. Any issues.
