Help to decide exhaust

Hi guys..I have a 1500 sport one 2018..gas v8...I'm looking for something to improve the sound on it.

My first option is the flowmaster 50 series HD...but now Im thinking that this one will be a little bit quiet yet..like...I could have a little bit more pepper on it..also, this muffler in Canada is about 500 bucks..I think its too much for a muffler

now Im thinking about a wifi cutoff..and when I get bothered by the inside drone or something like that in a large trip or if I wanna be quiet in a sunday morning...I just close the valve..

does anyone have it installed? feedback please...

any other muffler recommendation?

Complete stainless, nice sound when idle and cruising around town but when you get on the Ram with the 5.7 with these added..... oh my, and no drone.
Hands down no comparison. And great customer service with a great warranty.

Or get just the 50HD muffler and have it install by a shop

Get something not common, be rare. If your looking at a muffler, look at Pypes Violator kit, all stainless and sounds great. If your looking catback, look at ****** Blackheart, never heard anyone with one yet, so you'dd never hear your truck out there. This coming from a Magnaflow guy too.

The flowmaster hd 50 was designed for the hemi. It has a 3 inch inlet and a 4 inch throughout the muffler. Have had one on for almost 8 years in NJ with lots of road salt and muffler is still good. With muffler k&n drop in and 87 octane flashpak tune truck runs great. Picked up 6 tenths in quarter mile. Runs [email protected] with a 2.04 60 foot time.

After going balls deep into YouTube exhaust sound clips I settled on a 14 inch bolt on from B2 fabrication, at around 210$ for a relatively aggressive tone I couldn’t pass it up. Though after hearing a fellow members carven progressive the other day I like that one better.

I've had numerous mufflers on my truck. I am now running the FM 50HD and love it. It's not crazy loud, but it's not quiet either. Of all that I've had, I can recommend the Borla ProXS and FM 50HD as giving great sound, no drone, and lots of smiles. Depends on what type of sound you prefer as to which one you'll like best. It seems to me the FM 50HD made my truck respond the best....smooth acceleration, responsive gas pedal, good gas mileage (get 18 mpg with normal driving).

If you want louder, look at Carven, FM Super44/40/10, Spintech 9000, etc.

i did the muffler delete and i like how it sounds. Its not near as loud as i thought it would be. sounds good

Thanks for the advices all...I loved the sound of the magnaflow 12288...I will check the prices and if I dont find a good deal on the fm50hd I will go with magnaflow12288
