What is the latest concensus on continual Hemi tic. 113 K miles, still has good performance, minimum amount of towing, etc. at no point does tic seem louder than any day before. Just there and very annoying.

Is it your cummins? If a hemi read below. If cummins post in Cummins section, you will get better answers.

Many tools to explore this and monitor if damage is occurring if this is a hemi ...

Determine if it is exhaust related or lifter related, if lifter related develop a lubrication strategy. Use of lubegard biotech or redline 5w30 are two possible options, read those threads and poll results.

Used Oil Analysis.

Cutting open oil filter.

Magnets on oil filter.

Changing your oil and seeing if there are any metal shards.

Using a lubrication strategy to ease the ticking.
