hid install,plug and play........sorta.

I'm kinda stumped on this one though.

Honestly, the 02-05s I can definitely see an issue with the stock plugs. 9007 plugs sometimes are wired for 9005.........which is backwards. H13s are one way. Period, nothing close!

After the judging; me ,matt and brian. Went at it with a test light. The ballasts were inop. Replaced with the fog ballasts and took off the resistors, ( the only change) and after some wiring tweaks,making the harness fit, It worked very well. Ya don't wanna stare into these very long.lol. I like the 6000k choice! . Brian seemed too think the resistors were/is the culprit. I haven't a clue. I did try plug and play per the diagram and I had gotten the same results that I did after I put in the relay harness. I'm at a loss. with ballasts and mentally it seems lol.

You tell me? I think it is, there really isn't a pattern lol; more like flood lights, little blueish as well. I love them can't wait to resolve the ballast issue so I can use the fogs as well!

Yeah, the guy matt is friends with knows a thing or two about modding, This is his truck

He is the one that didn't know why I needed the resistors in the first place, I was like uh. ok. ( what the hell did I know) I played dumb , just to look smarter in this case.lol.
I brought all my tools and started testing till we found something amiss. Then put it back together and got lights .

Todd at retro shop gets a lot of grief from time to time.Not from the product he sells, but from idiots like myself. He helped me out a great deal as did Jeremy. 2 guys that are stand up people. I will suggest too anyone who asks too use there services. The lights are done, I am very pleased. Bright as hell. ftw if oncoming traffic hasn't learned to look too the right when facing headlamps!

Whethersfield , all the way up the Berlin Turnpike. Left hand access too Arrow rd. First light after the 175 intersection.Take left, Top of hill on right 61Arrow rd. industrial building. At that point it intersects with Russel rd. near the Humane Society.
