Did mine today. Did the doors and tailgate. I left the Hemi badges on.
It took about an hour to remove the four side door badges and the Big Horn and 4 X 4 on the tailgate.
Very happy with the results. Much cleaner look.
Used Goof Off. Was worried that it was going to harm the paint but I did not scrub real hard and as soon as I was done I wiped it off with wet microfiber rag.
Something that helped me a great deal was after I removed the letters I did not put the hair dryer on the tape very long maybe 10 seconds just to warm the tape, I also used a plastic putty knife and pulled on the tape as I scraped with the putty knife, the trick is not to try to go too fast.
I also used the putty knife to scrape the adhesive residue after I got the bulk of the tape off. Putty knife was very helpful. But make sure you only use a plastic one.
Warning, if you run the hair dryer too long it will make the letters stick worse, just get them warm not hot. The very first letter I did I got too hot, it was a pain. After I got through the first one the rest were pretty easy because I did not rush or use the hair dryer too long.
Make sure you have plenty of fishing line or dental floss because it tends to break. Fishing line worked better than dental floss.
I had never done anything like this before.
It got dark before I got a chance to get pictures.
