Howling noise coming under hood

Hi every one i have a 2003 ram if i start it and rev motor sounds fine if i put in gear an go down rod it sounds fine until i push it down about half way then it howles???any help apreciated!

What sort of howl? Could be trans

Cold air intake?
Throttle body spacer?
Or maybe just maybe you have a Hemi

Its a diesel why would the trans howl ?

It only makes noise if i accelerate past halfway.
