Look at what came in the mail yesterday..OMG this little sucker is nice. This is the HAT Legatia L3v2. I hope to have it installed by the end of the weekend. Since I only have a 4ch amp I will disconnect the tweeters for now and see how it sounds until I get another amp. I could have went with the higher end Legatia L3SE but after looking at the specs vs price these were the best bang for the $.

Enjoy some speaker ****...LOL

I would make the adapter plate these are such a nice piece that you don't want any part of them loose vibrating around.

I figured it wasn't worth posting in my thread but an adapter is necessary because the HAT screw hole diameter was too small and didn't even reach the mounting holes. I just traced the stock speaker on a piece of board and cut it out. I also used some deadener to cover some holes in the dash around the speaker.

thank you both for the advice. I guess a lttle more wood work needs to be done. And yeah I wouldnt want them to vibrate at all.

Make sure you give the HAT's plenty of power.

I have a RF p500-4 and each channel is giving about +/-60 watts. later on I will upgrade to a more SQ amp(s)

They didnt come out perfect but here is a pic after I cut them.
I plasti dipped them black but forgot to take a pic. Hopefully they fit if not I am going to need to get some thinner wood or sand these down.

Lots of space so as long as you aren't over 1/4" I think you would be ok. I have a line on eostec 150s that I'm going to try out for cheap.

My sk125.4? I got it installed and it made a world of difference the amount of power going to mids and tweets. Very very dynamic but one thing I do miss is little bit of warmth with my current speaker I had from the class ab amp. I am going to see if going back to more classic mids and tweets will help this so we will see.

Quick update. I go to install them and the wood adaptors a little thick so I have to sand them down a bit. this sucks because I really want to see how they sound.

I wouldn't be able to contain myself. I'd have to roll without grills for a couple days
