Winter finally subsided enough for me to install my Icon Vehicle Dynamics stage IV suspension (stage III with UCAs). I ordered the suspension in November, didn't receive it for a very long time, and then had snow storm after snow storm keep me from installing it. The install was a little more difficult than I anticipated, but everything is on and my initial impression is very good. You can get more info on my build in the link below.

http://www.ramforum.com/f17/gray_man_build_thread_ver_2_0_a-40135/

I will do a full review after I have a chance to test it in multiple environments. I also plasti dipped my wheels while they were off today. Here are a few pics of the install. What do you guys think?

Wow...looks great, you'll be happy with the Toyo A/T 2's if end up getting them...I'm very curious to see what the suspension upgrade did to the overall ride which was pretty good to begin with IMO...nice work, very Sharp rig!

Thanks. I drove around a little after the install. The best I can describe it is the truck floats over the ground now. It doesn't sway any more than stock during regular cornering, but it feels softer...depressions in the ground like potholes just disappear.

Nice! I had these on my 09. Icon 1 1/2" lift rear shocks and coils and Bilsteins in the front.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. Here is one more pic. This is my side of the garage...it needs to be straightened up a lot, but at least all my toys fit...barely.

Have you done any driving off the pavement yet ??

Yes, I found a huge construction site today as evidenced by the dirt on my tires in the garage pic above. On and off road, the suspension is light years ahead of the stock suspension regarding soaking up bumps.

worth the price in your opinion? purchased directly from icon or better deal elsewhere, I look at the kit quite often but worry about the load capability with the progressive rate coils in the back, I haul fire wood and haul my outlander in the back and want to get airbags which wont work with the longer coils so always wonder how these new coils would handle the task, I know the stockers don't lol

I haven't done any high speed off road driving yet to really test it out, but yes IMO it is worth the price. I know you can get it a little cheaper than MSRP from either Poly Performance Inc or performancelifts.com. The on-road ride is much much better IMO. Driving in traffic or on bad roads is much more enjoyable. Whether it is worth 3 grand or not depends on how valuable 3 grand is to you...The suspension is worth 3 grand of my hard earned dollars to me.

ya roads are horrible around here too lol, do you think it would sag much with a give or take 900lb atv in the box?

Whoops, my bad...I forgot to address the second part of your question.

I haven't put anything in the back yet to verify, but no I don't think it will sag badly. The rear springs are thicker than the stock springs and are dual rate as well. The first half is slightly softer than stock to give it a more compliant ride, but the second half is 75% firmer than the first half. It should actually be able to handle heavier loads with these springs than stock. And since this suspension lifts the rear a little instead of just leveling the truck, it won't look like its squatting with weight in the back.
