Went back and read through some of those posts for additional details and that definitely looks like a well made bracket to properly locate the hooks in the sport/Express bumper.

I have some more thoughts on your situation. Check your Pm.

I should have taken a side by side of these brackets. Man they are noticeably beefier feeling. And they fit beautifully. Hooks showed up early. :D install was a piece of cake. Install the bracket as far to the outside as it'll go and snug it in some. Installed the hooks. Then tightened everything up to goodentight.

Lucky for me it was factory. I did the mesh in the lower bumper insert though

I got my brackets in this week. They are really nice quality. Waiting for my buddy to powder coat my second hand hooks, the I will cut the bumper insert and get the bad boys installed.
I haven't looked yet, but what is involved in removing the bumper insert? Does it jus pop out, or is there hardware removal required?

Pops out , very easy.

Word of advice prior to cutting warm them up in the sun or quickly hit them with a heat gun or use a hair dryer for 7-10 minutes.
Cut them with an x-acto or utility knife when warm & the cut like butter !

I received my brackets today and installed them already. Super easy to do and came out just how I wanted them! Excellent quality, thanks Ken!

I will try to remember to take pics tomorrow.

Trying to break down my hooks to powder coato them. Can't get the bracket bolts free. Tried PB Blaster. Soaked over night, and the breaker bar nor the impact gun will touch them.
The bolts look pretty rusty, but the exhaust bolts looked worse. Could there be loctite on them?

Tried a pipe on the end of the breaker bar? I know mine were tight but they were also brand new.

Ugh. I tried to save money and bought used tow hooks. They showed up today and they're missing the rubber bushings from the back, which aren't sold separately. Wonderful.

That sucks! Makes no sense for them not to include them with the hooks.

Maybe they were stuck to the frame when he took them off?

From the way it looks, I think you would have to actively remove them from the hooks.

If I had the dimensions I might be able to find one online that would work.

I bought them from a yard so I think I'm going to give them a hard time about it.

Yeah, I think you are overdue to spread around a hard time.
