I had some free time today, so I went ahead and ditched the clutch fan for the Mopar Electric Fan, replaced the thermostat with a 180*, and also swapped out the standard water neck for a satin finish one from Billet Tech. Install was a breeze, and the truck now runs at 177-181* at idle with the fan on, and runs at 183-185* while cruising with the fan off. I have only put about 20 miles on it so far, but the truck feels strong with the other supporting mods there to back it up. Below are a few tips to make the install easier for those of you that are considering this.
I didn't have an air chisel available to pop the stock clutch fan off, so I made a cheap tool using a piece of flat bar and (2) 5/16" bolts. The bolts are 2" long and are mounted 2 1/4" apart. This allows them to fit in the holes in the water pump pulley and keep it in place as you use a crescent wrench to spin off the stock fan...
Next is a picture of how the thermostat is supposed to be installed. There is a small breather hole on the tstat that allows any air in the system to bubble out. This valve needs to be positioned at the 12 o'clock position as shown below...

And here are finished pics with the Mopar Efan bolted in...
And finally, the aftermath of what came out...
