Which mod would be better to pair with flyinryans SCT tune? A Hughes f1 air gap intake or a set of Harland sharp 1.7 roller Rockers?

Roller rockers will be easier to install and give your truck more pep. Intake will lose a decent amount of low end tq and make your truck slow of the line without supporting parts

Well I'm going with the Harland Sharp 1.7 Roller Rockers. Is the pedestal mount an easier install than the stud mounted? Price isn't an issue I just want whatever is easiest.

And I've seen in a few places that our kegger intakes are actually pretty good at low end. So I was already leaning away from the intake.

If I remember right I went pedestal mounted 1.7 Harland Sharps. I installed mine in an afternoon. Gave the truck a little more sound and deff some more up and go.

No drilling is needed if u use the right stud kit. Crane Rocker Arm Guide plate Conversion Kits 36655-16 needs no drilling whatsoever.

The pedestal mount HS doesn't require drilling does it?

late '80's, my friend with a 70 hemicuda, asked me to spot face his oem rocker arms, and install Crane "computer designed" adjusting screws, 3/8" NF, thread, with locknuts. Well those male threads were like 0.015" too small. You could just about put them in sideways. OK, slight exaggeration, but they defintely would have stripped the internal threads in the oem rocker arms. That's the last time I ever purchased/installed any Crane equipment. Once burned, twice shy. Just saying.

What's wrong with them? I definitely want the best quality I can get.
