Hey guys. So had my4x4 Laramie leveled and put on bigger tires. Did alignment at dealership but now been back twice because they cant get it right. They seem to blame the tires and "lift". Lifted / leveled guys ever actually get their alignments back on par with factory is this typical?

Also I know the Toyo Extremes I have might change the ride a but, but I think I feel some vibration on freeways. Know what I should look for? May just be the road but I feel nothing city driving. I rarely get on the freeways. Thanks guys.

They should be able to get it pretty close to stock! I think they are trying to bs you..When I had my old truck with the lift and level I could put it on "auto pilot" for a good 1/4-1/2 mile!

Yea here too sounds like a BS story. Had a 2009 4x4 quadcab4x4, 2.5" lift in front with Nitto Trail Grapplers in 295x65x20, which is a 35" tall tire. Front end re-aligned and no issues for 25,000 mile when I sold it to my son. Rotated every 5,000 also.

They're full of ****. I had a firestone try to spin me that story. I got on the phone with corporate and handed them their ass on a silver platter. Most of the time they're too lazy to do it right because adjusting camber and caster requires messing with the lower control arm bolts which are a bit of a pain.

Wow, well you guys just confirmed my suspicions. Sucks to be in a non Mod friendly dealership I guess. Will have to try Firestone or Sears I guess.

Idk what dip **** Firestone he delt with but the one I work at. We align any vehicle no matter what if we take your money. You get an alignment. We've had ppl come in for an alignment with bad ball joints and tie rods. We told them that it should be replaced and if they say just align it that's what we do. Lol.....lifted, lowered or stock no excuse in not driving straight on "auto pilot" lol

Vibration all the time or when you're hitting bumps? Could be contributed to by the alignment being off.

How much lift do you have?
