Figured I'd ask y'all before spending any money. Looking at the first results on ebay which bring up the basic looking 2.5" steel coil spacers. Does that look okay? Or should i buy some shocks while I'm there.

I put a Rough Country leveling kit and Bilstein 5100 shocks on my 2014 2500 and I'm quite pleased with it. The shocks made a big difference and recommend that you do those as well.

All depends on how much money you want to spend. No matter what you do you'll want to replace the shocks as others have said. If you want the front axle centered on the truck you'll also want an adjustable track bar. That will help prevent death wobble issues as well. If you want an even better quality ride look at 3" progressive rate coils rather than a steel spacer.

Even with it only being 2.5", would an adjustable track bar make that much of a difference?

Yes, definitely. 2.5" is still a fair amount of lift when you aren't modding any other suspension parts. Without an adjustable track bar your front axle will be shifted to the drivers side of the truck by approximately 1 - 1.5"

Bilstein 5100's won't work for your truck as it has a solid axle not IFS. The IFS trucks use a strut assembly while the HD trucks use a separate coil spring and shock.

Honestly if you an wait a bit I can sell you my HBS 2" spacers as I'm installing a lifting of my truck. The spacers have only been in for 1,000 miles if not a little under. PM me if you're interested.
