Anyone know what the factory height is up front on a 16 Ram Lonestar crew 1500 2WD. Just purchased the truck for my wife. Purchased and installed CST 2-3" spring lift. And I swear it only lifted an 1". But I never measured it before.
She wanted a 4x4 2500 with a mild lift 35s. She complains about the ride in my JKU and will never use 4x4. (She even did I was not aloud to take it to the beach.) So we ended up with the 1500 2wd. So the current plans were 2.5" lift and 33s.
Measures 38" front 39" rear
Maybe it's just the factory Good4ayears.
Not a Lone Star, but my Tradesman Crew Cab 2wd measures 36.5" stock in front. That's with the Pentastar, not sure if Hemis have different springs to compensate for the extra weight.

Ive got the cst springs as well and only got 1.5" of lift out of them.
34s fit no problem.
35s will fit if you replace the springs with a spindle lift.
That sucks. Don't get me wrong it looks better than the factory rake. But I would expect a 2-3" kit to at least give you 2". Kind of wish I went with a different lift. Does any one make a 1" spacer?
Check out TGC(Top gun customz). They have every size spacer. but I dont think you can/should put spacers on top of the aftermarket coils. I would contact TGC and CST and get their opinion on doing that
Why wouldn't you put a spacer on top of an aftermarket coil? The aftermarket coils are the same if not better than a factory coil.
It has nothing to do with aftermarket being better or not. On 2wd trucks you only have so much you can lift before your upper control arm and your coil bucket start developing a super close relationship and start banging on each other with longer shocks. If you don't run longer shocks your ride will be absolutely terrible and bounce everywhere. It doesn't matter if you get a spring or a spacer or both. It will have the same consequences. I would not go over 2" with a spring or spacer. The only true effective no drawbacks way to lift a 2wd ram 1500 is to get spindles.Yes your better and my better could be 2 different things. But aftermarket is usually as good if not better than stock. If it wasn't there would be no market for it.
If you are stacking spindles Springs and spacer then the companies are afraid of the angles on the components. If it is just springs and spacer no big deal
