I'm almost there money wise for my cam setup.

I've heard a lot you guys never replaced your lifters?

Sooo... Is it safe? Or do I need lifters?

Since they're rollers you don't have to replace them with the cam. I had 158K miles on my engine when I did my rebuild and one of my Cam lobes was worn from a bad lifter. If you're not planning on removing the heads then I would inspect the camshaft for signs of excessive wear.
