I appreciate the effort but that link was no help to me

It looks like a different set up than I have in my truck. Maybe the rear dome is the same as that video though. I'll have to check. Thanks!2014 Dodge RAM 1500 LED interior lights upgrade installation - YouTube
I don't know what trim level this truck is. I cant tell if it has the chrome piece in the map lights or not. I wonder if the upper trims have them to complicate the process of swapping out the bulbs?
Yeah mine is different, the chrome part is flat. The rear dome light is the same as the front map lights. I need to somehow remove it to access the light. In the link JBR shared the guys were talking about removing 3 small pieces to get it out.I just use a small screwdriver to pry off the clear map light cover. Which allows me access to the bulb.
For the rear dome I use the same screwdriver to pop off the clear cover.
Is your setup different than mine?
did you get this figured out,,,i got some leds coming in and have the same map lights as youYeah mine is different, the chrome part is flat. The rear dome light is the same as the front map lights. What I think I'll do is just get the dealer to put them in when the truck goes in on Wednesday lol. Save me from breaking something!
Thanks for taking the time to get me pics man!
No I haven't yet. I have the truck going into the dealer tomorrow so I was just going to get them to do it. I'll update tomorrow night with the results!did you get this figured out,,,i got some leds coming in and have the same map lights as you

Just got a call from the dealer. They told me that my lights are actually hardwired in and they can't replace the bulbs. The tech even broke he rear dome light trying to get into it so they've had t order a replacement. Guess the upper trims can't be changed! What a bummer!see if you can see how they did it

Well maybe your truck is different than mine. It's just the map lights and rear dome light that you can't change on my truck. I replaced the reverse lights and third break lights alreadyso i just wasted 80 bucks on leds???? so everytime a bulb goes out we have to take it in the dealership?

That sucks man :/ you'd think they would make it easier. Idk why anyone would want that ugly dull yellow colour.my map lights look the same as yours
No I used canbus bulbs. The only lights I bought that I couldn't get canbus for were the reverse lights. I used a resistors for each of those though.Did you have to run a resistor for the third brake light or use CANBUS friendly led's?
