I hear ya on the summer thing. Been way to cold here this week. Truck looks sweet. Can't wait to see the mods piled on. :)

Yeah, heard you guys are tasting quite a bit of Canadian Arctic cold!

Thanks, looking forward to seeing them too! Having them sitting in my basement is hard on moral lol!

Got my BT Catch can and 5100s today!

Next up, Icon progressive coils 1.5" rear lift and 2500 flares!

Looking forward to spending some time installing those goodies!

Can't wait to see pics. I think these trucks should have come with the kind of ground clearance you get with the level. I'm holding off until after my BL to see if I want fender flares. I kind of like the clean look without them. I just want to keep the paint from going to ****. Might get the poly mud flaps for that.

Thanks man! Looking forward to install them, you have no idea hehe!

Yeah I agree with you, on these trucks, level is a must unless you have factory air ride suspension. My dad has that on his 14 sport and it's a pretty kickass system. A little stiff during cold weather (-20celsius and below) the one thing that I thought was amazing is how even with a freakin 500lbs ATV in the bed, the truck just stays level...

Nice! See for me, for the flare, it's not really a question of is it gonna look good or not, it's more a question of a lifted truck needs flares in my opinion. Homestly, I think that the 2500 flares are the only ones that look good on these sport model trucks unless you go with huge pocket flares for trucks with 14" wheels and tires and that you actually make good use of them hehe!

Quick question,..what is that film that you use on your fog lights? Can you get it in different colors as well?
Can I ask what it looks like when it is dark out?

The film I use is a simple tint film from ebay. Lamin-X makes them for our trucks for a nice, cut-less fit. It also comes in blue, dark or simply clear.

As for what it looks like at night, the light output is the same for now (until I get a set of 3000k HIDs) and it gives the light a yellowish color. When looking at the truck at night, it looks like you have yellow bulbs.

Your truck looks awesome, I'm totally stealing your idea of tinting the fogs!

I see you are in Quebec, did you get your film from within Canada?

Not even! Got it from ebay, from China. It was like 5-6$, shipped! Got a big roll (36"x12") in case the film wasn't going to last! Ended up staying there all winter and still looks great! Just make sure that when you apply it, you spray some soapy water on the lens, apply it and then firmly apply pressure with a card or small squigee and then heat it up a bit to make it stick well.

Dammit! I feel like I'm in a race for truck mods with you lol! Weather has been up and down, and unfortunately my summer car is taking up all the room in my garage so I haven't dipped my wheels yet.

Haha! That's funny!

Originally, I had big plans for this summer but wasn't expecting the wife to get her hours reduced that much so the mods will be put on the side for now...

Still looking at some flares and 1/4 inch spacers to fill those flares hehe! Maybe get a set of HIDs too but that's gonna be it for now, unless she finds another job...then we can race for mods bro hehe! :)
