Hello everyone. I have a 2017 1500 2wd that I'm planning to lift with the maxtrac kit and I plan on putting some 35x12.5xr20 nitto terra grappler g2s. Is there anything I should be concerned about before doing this?

Couple of questions.

Did you have to adjust the speedo after putting all of that on there?

Was it level after the install? and do the tires rub at all?

Your ride looks awesome btw

A question or two for you...what about wheels? What are your plans there?

Do you have any concerns about voiding your powertrain warranty because of the speedometer/odometer not being corrected?

Do you have any concerns about voiding your powertrain warranty because of the speedometer/odometer not being corrected?

I recently installed the Maxtrac 7 inch lift on my truck. Only been driving it a couple days, but so far I am enjoying the ride and haven't noticed too much of a hit in mpg.

I debated for a while about lifting because I didn't want to void my powertrain. I called one dodge dealer and was told that I could only lift up to 4.5 inches, that I had to have a Mopar shop install the lift, and that the lift had to be a factory lift. I called another local dodge dealer and was told that if I lift the truck, it would only void the warranty on the suspension parts, but that it wouldnt void the whole powertrain, and that I could lift up to 7 inches and could install myself.

So it is really dealer preference. I would suggest calling your dealer and checking with them about whether or not the lift would void the warranty.
