The OEM Goodyears only lasted 27,000 miles. these are suppose to be 70,000 mile tires. the ride and traction on the Michelins is much better than the OEMs

Michelin all season tires are far superior than anything offered by Goodyear.
I wish they made a mud tire.
I would strongly disagree with that statement. The OE Latitudes on my Jeep were horrible. They were horrible in anything but dry, smooth pavement. They were supposed to have a 65K warranty. After 22k, they were down to 5/32s on all (rotated twice). They were scary in snow. One of them got a gouge in the sidewall, so I replaced all before winter. They can't come close the GY Silent Armors, or other GY models. I'd pick Forteras before them also. Blanket statements like this are silly. Not all GY tires suck. They make some good, and some bad -- just like any other manufacturer (even Michelin). There are over a dozen "Wrangler" models. Yes, many are crappy. There are some that are excellent...same for any mainstream brand. I would agree that the MS/2s are far greater than the GY HPs. I have Silent Armor ProGrades on my truck, and Cooper A/T3s on my Jeep now. I wouldn't trade either for any Michelin.
Did you ever tow with the Goodyears on? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on towing with the Michelins vs. the Crapyears with respect to sidewall firmness.
