05 2500 Cummins, quad cab long bed 2wheel drive automatic. 185000. Trans lasted only 95k on easy use daily driving. Dealing with extension housing, tail shaft bushing leaking now. At least this trans still seems to be ok, very weak tho. At basically stock power and easy gas pedal'n, usually no loads, and almost never towed with

Does anyone have an extension housing, tail shaft bushing Tool? For an 05 2 wheel drive cummins, auto. 48re

I can give lots of reference to reassurance, rent it or whatever you need. Trying to avoid taking off the whole tail shaft

My 2007 3rd Gen is now 12 years old. I bought it when it was a baby. It has 95,000 miles, and average fuel economy reported by it today is 15.2 MPG. Always used synthetic oil, changed oil every 8,000 miles.

Its a 4X4 Hemi Auto, Long Horn with business interior (factory buckets with large center console).

Just realized I need to do an oil change on her, 12000 km overdue.
Use Lucas Oil stabilizer in it, dosage 10% of crankcase.

240k miles on my '04 5.7 Hemi Magnum. Tranny has been rebuilt but I don't believe the motor has been touched.

I just bought my 2007 quad cab short bed Laramie with the 5.7 back in January. I am the second owner. It has approximately 163,000 miles and I am hoping for many, many more. Love the truck.

I’ve owned my 2005 Ram 3500 dully, CTD about 4 years now. Not sure, but don’t think engine or transmission have ever been rebuilt, replaced, or major repair done; but, there definitely are some aftermarket additions (done prior to my purchase). Today, she has 274k+ miles and drives quite strong. Whether pulling our 22’ camper or towing an 18’ equipment trailer with New Holland tractor w/frontend loader & backhoe, she averages around 17.5 mpg. “Empty”. — which includes ladder rack and three bed-mounted tool boxes loaded — she gets up to 22 mpg Interstate. I’m fairly happy Ram owner.

Just purchased Silver 2005 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4.7 SLT ThunderRoad 4x4 150,000 miles. 3rd owner (1st owner only put about 14,000 on it). Previous owner kept meticulous records. Runs strong; once it warms up and the clicking goes away. Though it runs strong while do long that it’s just noisy. I swear it’s not in the motor though... we shall see. My 3rd Ram
