Moe's Bolt On 5" Tips

I want the original 5" tips no offense but these look like 5" welded to 4" welded to 2.75" then flange for clamp....not my style granted you won't see it for the money I want it good now if they were only 50 bucks I would understand, I am glad to see Matt reply so quick, that shows he cares about his customers

The original tips of Matts are a winner with me as well, but I'm not saying these tips are anything but quality. They are well constructed in your hands. Like you stated: a matter of styling. My wife put it to the point quickly for me: You are not going to see that part of the tip on the truck.

I think a set of these new tips would look just fine on my truck. I prefer the first/original model, but would probably buy these too.

^X2 That's where I settled this also but instead of probably buy, they are in my hands. Matt does one hell of a job bringing products for our trucks. I as well as a host of us appreciate the service he brings to this table.

Finally got my new tips flat blacked. Let them sit a couple of days and got them installed tonight. Sounds good! A little louder for sure. Post some pics in the light tomorrow.

Looks good. When I do my exhaust I was looking at the 5" tips in black since I have the black out express. Did you just use high temp paint?

Looks good. When I do my exhaust I was looking at the 5" tips in black since I have the black out express. Did you just use high temp paint?

Yes, took 220 with the DA and sanded it till the shine was off. Inside and out and 5 coats of this high temp paint I had around the house for the grill. PERFECT!

All in All, really looks good on the truck. Not the best pics but a good representation of the tips on the truck. I'm more surprised of how well they sound. I was kinda taken off guard when I fired the truck up.

Ken, great job on the black paint. The larger tip usually gives the truck a little deeper tone.

I just received mine yesterday. Mine did come with an open back as well. Even though id prefer it with a closed back like the first "batch". I am excited to put them on. I may wait until summer so no salt gets into the tip through the backside.
