I thought I would start a post showing the transition of my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad 4X4 from stock to current to see what you guys think.

BDS 6 inch lift with Bilstein Gas Shocks

Here I added a 6 inch BDS suspension lift with Bilstein gas shocks and a dual front stabilizer. The ATS painted fender flares were also added.

Magna Flow exhaust

Here I added the Magnaflow exhaust with the exit port tucked underneath for a clean look.

Very nice looking truck you have there! Welcome to RF, you should come over to the intro section to say hi to everyone.

I do have a question though about your exhaust and did you replace headers back or just muffler back? Any more pictures of that area would be great. Thanks

Without the fender flares

ok....just realized my pics are a little out of order. I kind of forgot what came first. Anyways, here's a pic before I added the fender flares.

Nitto Terra Grappler Tires

Burned out the Mud Grapplers so I went with a quieter Terra Grappler. Never liked the look, but they were much quieter.

Wow! What a totally different look (and performance)!

Makes me want to go out and start tinkering on my '07 1500 Sport 4x4 as well.

What did that lift run? Maybe I could go cheap and just lift it and use the stock wheels, like your first pic, rather than the full blown kick ass setup you have going .

New wheels and tires

Decided I wanted black wheels and more aggressive tires. Went with the 20X10 Fuel Hostage Wheels and Nitto Trail Grapplers 35X12.50 R20

Brakelate...thanks....not quite done yet...almost to current. I believe the lift cost around $1800. Looked ok with stock wheels/tires from the side. Kind of narrow looking from the front and rear though.

Most current

I added an E-Auto Grille. What does everyone think I should do next? I was thinking about having my fender flares done up with Line-X to black the black pop a little better.

I was thinking about the black head lights. Just the ones that are similar to stock with the inside housing painted black?

Just ordered some black euro style headlights and a HID conversion kit with relay for my fog lights (3000K). Can't wait to get them installed. After Xmas, I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Pioneer AVIC Z150BH to replace my existing stereo.

Installed the new Euro Black lights today. I really am liking the look. Still waiting on the relay harness for the HID fog lights 3000K

That looks great and I too would color match the grille shell.

What did you do with your old wheels?

I sold the old wheels to help cover the cost of the new ones.
