I see all kinds of really ugly grills these days, but I figure if it's on a 4wd that is being used as a 4wd, it makes sense. Especially if the truck is black or white. I don't see them on pretty trucks. A lot of trucks here have deer catchers so it doesn't matter either way for those.

Those small holes (like my Limit) take forever to clean the bugs and junk off of. I regret that most of all in my purchase. Love the Truck otherwise...

I like that orange, I also like chrome, but I'm old. this is mine, It has grown on me, was the best deal on the lot at the time. I am not a fan of black grills.

Now , about those mirrors? ;)

I ordered a grill painted Mango Tango to replace the chrome one. Then I removed that and installed the black with painted RAM letters. Which y'all like better? (Color difference due to sunny vs cloudy day)

As much as I love blacked out body parts, it doesn’t fit this application. The colour match looks amazing though so my vote is for that.

Top one....if you had black wheels and lettering on the rest of the truck the black would look better. If you are attached to the Rebel grille, take the covers off the wheels and have them powqdercoated like I did on my 2016. Then change out the lettering and steps and you're3 all matched in black trim.

Orange flows better and seems like the obvious choice. The black grill looks awkward, but the truck looks bigger and stronger with the black grill.

As one who owned a 19" Express Sport with the colour matched front and blacked out quads and bumpers vs my new Warlock two/tone front end and projectors....

You can't compare the two whatsoever... IMHO!
Each has its own unique flare and style.

Now owning the Warlock with the two-tone front end... I personally like it better as it is truly representative of a more utilitarian and all around truck vs what my previous sport model portrayed.

Blending a colour matched front and rear end on a utilitarian truck doesn't hit at all.
IMPO, it's one or the either ;)

The color matched grill looks like a woman's truck. The black looks macho. Oh sh*t, you already painted it.

Always the outsider..The Black tooks tuff..the Orange everyone has and it just blends in nicely but doesn't give your truck any "character" IMO...also there might be a chance of "other" shall we say "finishing touches" you might want to add to personalize your ride...but that's me and the majority on here rules...nice to have both in the garage!

How did you order a paint matched grille? I’ve been looking into it for my 1500 classic, but the dealership tells me that it’s order by vin number, and since mine is chrome, that’s all I’ll ever get…

Orange with the sport (slat) grill would be superb. If the two available choices... Still orange ftw.

OP, this is the route I'd take. Orange night edition. Black everything out. Man, this truck looks awesome!

Orange as well for me. Unless it's an all black truck like mine...then black...unless its more of a flat color (like my previous Ram), then the chrome (but I'm also old).

Top one for sure. I like the color match better but the main reason is I just don't like any of the new grills. Give me the crosshair grille.
