The "MST8513A Miller Tools 8513A Crankshaft Insert tool" which is the one for damper removal as last time I used a socket and near the end it started to stick and Fuckkd the Damper, which was tired lookin anyhow, so this time it should help eliminate any concern. Last time I bought the long threaded tool with the bearing for installing the damper, it was the Cats ASS.

Yeh you can't just get the tensioner alone. Could only just change it with the plate. That raises a good question wrt timing chain. I am thinking to get it off and change the bottum sprocket the oil pumps gotta come off right? So what are we talkin 4 bolts. Was curious as i haven't read up on it yet just looked at some pics I had on file.

Ok, logged, in, been, seen, read some posts, left the T-Shirt behind, feel ill, Fuckit, too much static, this Topic was supposed to be about installing my Cam to see if it will improve my set-up prior to doing the gears, so I'll post back when I get some news on when the Cam is arriving and when I will have time to do the install.

Ordered that 6.1 Oil Pump today Ken, it appears to look the same in the drawins and was only 53 Bucks, Taxes/in. Cam Bolt LOL was $1.60.

Danny, are you doing a DIY on your cam change? If not, would you send me or post a list of tools, bits and pieces?
Thanks,

Probably not a DIY, but will take lots of Pics and add comment like I did with the TC Post-Up in MY Pics! When I did the 6.1 Cam I used the DIY from the HTC. It was straight forward. No Major screw-ups and have since learned a few other tricks I didn't now about the Topic. This time around I do not have to change my springs (Learned about proper tool for that from Frog/Teach) and hope the pickup tube will slide thru the opening in the Oil Pan without crackin her, we'll see but read that the 5.7 tube slides into new pump likadysplit.

So to finish answerin the question, there is the Detailed DIY by Weed on the 2ndary place of worship and he was sucessfull in doing it without the 2 Miller Crank Tools. Doesn't hurt to have the 03 Manua on hand for ref. I like the haynes cause it is a quick ref for fluid amounts and Torque specsl. Sure, I can post up list of what I have, and what I think I need.
