The Mastercraft's are 2 ply construction, no? Probably a decent enough tire for the price... I'd say the Nitto's would be a better tire over all though... Have you considered the Toyo MT? Those would be my choice if going with an MT...
What size are you going with? I wouldn't have thought the Toyo's would have been that much more heavy than the Nitto's...
Wait what, you got 37s for 275/tire?
I have MXT's I haven't really had much of a problem with them and they actually look pretty good. Of course they are pretty cheap compared to Nittos so i'm not sure how much of a lifespan i can expect out of them. They don't have a tread warranty, but i paid $275-$285 a tire where the nitto G2's were about $425 tire. So you can save about $400-$500 if you do go MXT.
I'm like gassers though I heard so many bad things about tread wear on some of the nittos, and my local shop just kept trying to push them on me because that's what they
sell the most of. They just finished a jeep with a lift for another customer they told me to go look at the MXT's that they put on it and I couldn't beat the price for 37's
