Oem mopar projector headlights

Hi , I'm looking at a set of oem mopar projector headlights , I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse but are the factory oem projectors worth getting or not , right now I have the crappy factory halogen quad headlights in my 2015 1500 if they are worth getting, what else would I need to purchase to make the projectors work in my non projector truck ? Thanks.

Restore the lenses on the quads if needed and get fahren LEDs off Amazon and call it a day. Cheap, plug and play, and great output. To use projectors you would need to buy a conversion harness and then upgraded bulbs as well, since the stock bulbs on either headlight aren’t great.

Crash, do you happen to know if the led lights are plug and play on a 2016 ? Or is there flickering issues ?

I think there's been a couple of people reporting flickering but not sure on what year trucks, Alpharex has supplied add on resistors for them. Other have corrected any issues with AlfaOBD.
It's interesting there can be different issues among even the same model year/trim level of trucks.

The stock projectors are barely better than the quads. Try chucking some LED's in the quads first.

I went from a 2021 Classic Night edition with quads to a 2022 Classic Warlock with projectors. So not worth it. Maybe a slightly more focused hot spot but that's about it.

My biggest mistake...trading up for truck with projector headlights and the Alpine system when both would have been solved better and likely cheaper via the aftermarket.
