Oil Change Interval

FYI, oil change intervals have been discussed around here and some have asked what the 'max' mileage was between oil changes. I just read in the ''Big" owners manual page 682 (yr 2012) it says:

[Paraphrase] 'Under no conditions should oil change intervals exceed more than 8,000 miles or 6 months'

It doesn't indicate if it pertains to conventional or synthetic oil.

Just thought I'd pass it along.

That might be the case for your '12. My '17 manual states 10,000 miles, 12 months or 350 hours of engine run time. Whichever comes first.
