Its really up to you as both are great oils and O dont tjink you can go wrong either way.
Pup 5w30 is probably cheaper than RL 5w30.
The Filter you pick is maybe one one the best, One I just found that migjt be better is the Amsoil filter.

Those are top two choices IMO. PUP seams to have best wear numbers and redline is the best at combating unwanted ticks. Both of those features are ahead of the field, which do you value more?

Neither; Amsoil or Quaker State Ultimate Durability (Gold label and/or Gold cap) will serve you far better. Check the link in my signature and see the oil testing data for yourself. 216 oils tested and compared.

If your dead set between Redline and PUP, go with PUP. Far better than redline and has good thermal stability.

A 76mm filter wrench with extension would be your best bet, similar to the one pictured. Some use a small paint mixing/measuring bucket or similar to make the job leaner.
@RLK may be able to give you the info on the small "bucket" he uses.

Put the front of the truck on ramps or jack it up and use jack stands. I changed mine the first time on the ground and it sucked. The last time I used my ramps and it was so much easier. Attack the filter from the front over the engine cross member. I use a good set of oil filter pliers for removal of the old filter. With the truck in the air I just let the filter oil drain down the back of the electric power steering box and wiped it all clean when I finished. I tried to get a small funnel or tub under the filter but had no luck.

finally changed the factory oil and filter with reline 5w30 and a rp filter took it for a 60 mile round trip (hiway) pulled in the garage and it sounds a whole lot smoother
