So I'm gonna be getting 2in wheel spacers, and idk if I'm gonna take off the flares or not. But I'm really debating on lifting rather than lowering. On craigslist there's a rear leaf 2in lift and then I could get coil spacers in the front and be lifted 2in all around and run 33s, or I could stay on 31's and go 2in lower in the back and be leveled. Opinions? I'm gonna be doing a lot of mods this summer

I personally dont like when 2wd's are lifted but thats just me. I know it looks the same but it kinda defeats the purpose of the lift ya know?

31" tires are much cheaper than 33"s!
Very true! And I would be lifting purely for looks I won't drive it in the winter or off road, but I just think wheel spacers and wide tires look best on a truck that's at least slightly lifted

We have had this talk one of your first posts here on rf. The idea was bad then and still is. As others have posted slam that *****, but go all out back half it, 4 link, coil over, pan bar, narrowed rear 60 or 9", tub the box or tear the floor out. Maybe mustang two ifs with rp steering.

Really a personal preference thing, personally I don't find anything appealing about a lowered truck but a lot of people like them. If you wanna lower it, lower it. If you wanna lift it, lift it. Whatever you think would look better is the way to go in my opinion

I wouldn't really consider it pointless. A ton of people lift trucks, both 2wd and 4wd, just for the looks. I know people with anywhere from a leveling kit to a 7 inch lift whose trucks have never seen anything except pavement and they have 4wd. Might be pointless in terms of off-road use but if you like the look I don't see it as pointless.
Hell there's a guy in my neighborhood driving an older (40s-50sish body, not sure on the year or the make) and it's got a lift on it. Highly doubt he takes it off the road. I'll take a pic next time I see it out of the garage
