I'm thinking about buying a used UNLOCKED PCM. The PCM was unlocked by HPT and the guy is no longer using it. What information do I need to make sure that this PCM will work in my truck? I know that I'll have to program my VIN to the unlocked PCM but other than that, what is involved? Does anything other than the VIN need to be swapped over?
