None are really performance oriented unfortunately and no there are currently no coilovers available, at least none listed for the trucks. Now, I've been told that QA1 has a front coil over that will work with the 2wd trucks but nobody I know has been willing to fork over the $2K to find out. I have had better performance from the trimmed McGaughy's rear springs than I did with the Belltech ones but since mine is a 4wd I can't comment on the fronts simply because my only option is the Ground Force ones. The biggest increase I found in performance was going to a set of the dual adjustable QA1 rear shocks and a set of adjustable Rancho RS9000xl up front but a 2wd will benefit from the front QA1s.
Have a look at what's required to install the shockwave bags, you have to take a chunk out of the frame to get them to fit but yes, it's easy to adapt a coil over if you make the upper bracket, you just need to determine weight handling, ride height, and required suspension travel; this is what we were doing with the lowered trucks before they had offerings from companies like QA1 and BellTech.
I'll also note that I've never had luck with performance handling when air bags are involved simply because they have more variables involved compared to springs. I used to have an air spring system on the rear of the truck but it quickly got changed out for a spring again because there was just too much variation in ride performance and it was even worse when I added in the auto ride level control that would try to level the truck in a hard turn at speed but wouldn't bleed it off fast enough as you left the apex and started reversing the body roll.

Which qa1 coil over are you referring to? I'm starting to plan my new front suspension, and I will be going with coil overs.
After talking to QA1 for a while, I've decided to try other shops. Penske says that they can build a custom front coilover to work with the stock mounts with a double adjustable setup and springs to match. Cost should be around $650 per coilover.
Does anyone have any plans to redo the front geometry with a raised UCA mount or a shorter spindle?
