So what is the best way to remove the pillar tape on our trucks? Thanks for all the input guys!!

Remove the outer window belt molding and pull the appliqué off. Not much to it. Clean the residue off with goo gone or some kind of solvent. They always fade and wrinkle and look crappy. I have replaced a ton at work. Just took them off mine and left them off.

How do you remove the window belt molding if I may ask please.

Heat gun or hair dryer will help soften them up some also.

1 hour in the sun each side, they peeled right off, with goof off to clean up the gunk, the vids helped tremendously, thanks fellas!!

Ah... good to see this as I'm getting ready to fix mine. Some idiot shot a bb into my side pillar. Went in the metal 1/4". just a few inches more would have gotten the window right at head level. I didn't know a bb gun had that much punch! See pics.RamRockChip2.jpg RamRockChip.jpg
