I installed a Access Roll-up tonneau on my 07 Ram, and when I traded it in for the 16 Rebel it looked like the day I put it on 10 years ago. I purchased the Mopar try-fold cover with the Rebel, and after I got it home, I noticed it was a piece of crap. So when I picked up the 17 Sport, I ordered another Access Roll-up tonneau for it, and could not be happier. It rolls up out of the way, water does not get in the bed, and it is tight as a drum, not like the loose OEM cover.
I have an undercover flex, I like the look and functionality of it. I am on my second one as the first one was replaced under warranty do to paint fade after two years.
I just installed a Gator MX electric on my Ram. It's the powder coated aluminum matte finish version. The bed is actually more secure now than the cab! It's really strong and can hold a 500 lb load. Hail doesn't worry me. We get it quite frequently up here. If it was large enough to actually damage the cover, unlikely, the rest of the truck would be destroyed. It's much stronger than the body. I really like it so far, and I think it looks great! They revised it between ordering and shipping. The canister installs flat now instead of sticking up an inch or so as the website shows.
Cons -
Price: It's one of the more expensive I found.
Weight: About 90-100 lbs. It takes two to lift it on the bed.
Break-in: They claim 48 hours for the seals to break-in. Until then you have to help it along when closing. Took more like a week for mine, but it did start working on it's own.
Built-in light: Works fine, but I think they should've put one on each side. Still with the stock bed lights, it still illuminates things quite well.
