29,734 Miles - 12% on my OLM left.

This is the 4th oil change since new. M1 + a quart of Chevron 5W-20 out.

5.7 Qt. of Chevron 5W-20 going in with my el-cheapo Pronto Filters.

I'm going to run this until 35,500 miles and then do a Blackstone analysis before the warranty expires. The truck has ran perfectly so I doubt I uncover anything but better safe than sorry.

STILL no sign of HEMI TICK

Update...Almost 700 miles since I did this oil change...Filled the tank up twice within this timeframe...Evic showed a 1.7 & 1.9 mpg increase after each fillup from what the truck usually shows for mpg...Obviously I cant confirm that this increase has anything to do with the Brand/Viscosity change...Just found it ironic...

3, 6000- and going (at 7,700 at present) Redline 5w30 and a Royal Purple filter, plan on running this out to14k.
Motor is whisper quiet and will keep running Redline 5w30 and a Royal Purple filter unless something changes.
unless I mix in some 0w40 next time.

#1. 1100 miles, FF out , PP 5/20 Purolator Boss filter in.
Oil change done by dealer, didn't want to mess with trying to get factory filter off. Supplied my own oil and filter.

#2. 2700 miles #1 out, Castrol edge 5/20 gold bottle, k&n oil filter in. Couldn't get k&n oil filter to stop leaking, replaced with FU filter, no more leaks.

I'm gonna be doing 6 month 5 to 6 thousand mile OCI, so in January I'm going to pull an oil sample and see what it says. Regardless of what it says I'm going to 5/30 next change, will decide about the Castrol pending test results.

2014 ram 1500 5.7 laramie crew cab 78,000 miles.

Installed Royal Purple 10 - 48 filter

3 quarts 5w-20 PUP
4 quarts 0w-40 SRT

I wasn't happy with how high my oil pressure was so I drained it out. Oil pressure was about 58 PSI at idle when warm, 65 PSI cruising on Highway and about 75 PSI when I got on it.

I am now running 5 quarts 5w-20 PUP and 2 quarts 0w-40 SRT and everything is good and where I want it now.

Interesting... I got upper 50s psi while driving at operating temps with the same mix, I'll double check that on my way home from work today

I was really looking forward to running that mix. I'm sure the pressure would have been okay but I just wasn't comfortable with it, I gave it 220 miles before I drained it

Yea today I am getting 53 PSI at highway cruising speeds and 66 wasn't mac PSI at full throttle . 34at idle

Why would you not mind higher oil pressure ?

I don't know what it would be but I'd think there would be a point that it would be too high. More pressure means less actual volume of oil getting circulated.
