Quick dodge ram generation question.

A guy is telling his ram is a 2010 big horn edition, when I saw the truck it is a 06-07 body. What year did they stop making the 06-07 style rams?

2008 was the last year of that style. He said it was a 2010? You have a pic or link?

I dont have any pics. But it has the 06-08 body.I know from 02-05 is the same and 06-08 all that changed was the front end. He was actually serious and that he had the paper work to prove it. He said its possible cause its a big horn edition. I knew I was right.

Keep in mind there is a 1 year offset on the 2500/3500 series. So a 2009 2500/3500 would still have the '05~'08 body.

However that would still not do it for a 2010. The only thing I can think of is that it is a VGA truck and they put an older cabin on the newer chassis.

Interior? Bed? Are these from an 06-08 or a 2010? There are drastic differences between the 06-08 body style and a 2010. Pretty much nothing is the same. So chances are if he has a 06-08 front end he has an 06-08 truck. People claim stuff that's wrong all the time

And keep in mind that the 4th gen frame has completely changed from the 3rd gen, so having a '06-'08 front end adapted to a 4th gen would require a lot of FAB work and fitting...

Its actually a french acronym for vehicle gravement accidente which loosely translated means seriously accidented vehicle

Usually when its vga it gets written off by the insurance company then somebody buys the scrap pile and turns it back into a vehicle with many problems for years to come.
