So I want to get this hood for my big horn.

But... I removed my oem intake a while back and installed a vararam. Now in the enjoy space where the intake box was sits the compressor for my train horn.

Does anyone think it's possible to modify this scoop so it forces the air directly into the vararam instead of off to the side like intended? (based on this pic)

Honestly I don't wanna spend $1k on a hood and have to start cutting into it. But weighting my options

If performance is your goal your not going to reap much if any benefit adapting that hood to your vararam. Spend 1k on some longtubes or a programmer/pcm to get your monies worth.

I'm paired with a bully dog at the moment. Should I switch over to the diablo?
I have the 87mm TB and magnaflow pipes already.

I guess my real question is if I should have the compressor relocated and put the intake back to stock to accommodate the hood.

Maybe run a s&b with open lid if possible. Not sure on debris and trash getting in there.

Are you going to install some sort of screen to prevent flying debris from entering your engine?

The scoop has a screen and the filter itself shouldn't allow anything in. I've never gotten anything stuck in my vararam
