Hi Everyone, I am purchasing a 2016 Laramie 3500. The sticker shows it has rear auto leveling system. I have provided 2 attachments of fob and dash for the vehicle I am buying. My question is how can my sales person verify the leveling system is working?

The system has 2 positions, normal and lowered. In order for the system to go to the lowered height, you must have significant weight in the bed of your truck. When you have the weight in the bed, activate the switch that says : "Alt Trailer height ". It will drop the bed by about 1-1/2". You must be at a complete stop in order for it to activate. It take approximately 30 seconds to complete. When I load our 5th wheel on the truck, the system levels the truck back to normal height. My pin weight is 4000 lbs. After it has come back to normal height, I activate the alt trailer height and the system takes over. There is nothing on the FOB for this.
The service department should be able to provide the information needed to activate the system.
Best of luck.
