A good foundation makes routine maintenance a lot easier and faster.

That would be half assed AF. Just the fender? The whole truck needs it...

Currently having trouble with adhesive again... Had to take off my window edge thingies as they were making noise at highway speed that sounded like a cracked open window...
get out there and polish your fender, so you can post a pic here

nah that wouldnt be half asses, you can polish to different levels, right now it stands out, you can do a qick-ish pass on it and make it look like the rest of the truck, perk of polishing, you can make it look as good or bad as you want, there have been alot of times in my body shop that i have to "un-polish) a new painted panel to make it match the swirls of the rest of the car, that way the new panel isnt obvious

I've heard rumors of painters telling customers they added a little "fade" to the paint so the paint would match the original color.

yeah there are times when you have to do alot of work to get the color to match, alot of fading, and like ive had to do, add swirls to it, ive cringed but ive had to do it so the new fender or w/e doesnt stand out like a sore thumb
