Rockers

I just noticed on my passenger side that my rockers have two spots where the paint was chipped right off. I originally thought it was rocks from tiered and maybe it was but to me it almost looks like it’s right here spot welds are along with the fact that I can see bubbles in the paint.

Sounds like it is starting to rust.

Your truck is 9 years old now with undetermined miles driven in unknown conditions (like winter).

Unless you are proactive and rust proof your truck with something like Krown coating rust is inevitable even in areas without winter.
