I know this has been beat to death but it is time to replace my "front end" parts on the way... then there is the question of shocks.

I do no off roading, I drive back and forth to work, I haul a trailer about twice a year to move a motorcycle or a car, I just need something that is better than stock but not crazy expensive.

I see these monroe sensa traks all over the internet but some of the reviews are horrible.

I have not bought shocks yet and are open to suggestions from daily drivers.

Thanks guys, been a while.

Nothing wrong with Monroe replacement shocks. I used them on my old 2000 Silverado before I lifted it.

Groovy thanks, I'll buy the monroe sensa traks. There were no middle of the road reviews either complete love or complete hate. I would bet they are better than the ones on there which I'm sure have been on there for 170,000 miles.

Just replaced all 4 of mine on my 2500. Bilstien 5100's are the way to go. At 4 whee parts they were like $68 each.

Could be state dependent and truck dependent though. And that price was without installation. Was $30 per shock for front and $60 per shock on the back for me. I also had a 2.75 leveling kit added and bigger tires but the shocks are so much better than my stock ones were.
